A: Chalkak Collective is a self-portrait photobooth museum in Singapore, billed as Asia’s first. It has four bookable studios, the Vintage Press Studio, Cutesy DIY Bar, K-Photo Lab and Self Portrait Atelier, each with its own lighting, props and printed keepsakes. You take the photos yourself and leave with prints and every digital copy. It is run by Monadex, a photo-tech company that builds photobooth hardware.

A: Open daily, 10am to 11pm, weekends included. The last booked visit starts at 22:00 so it finishes by closing.
A: S$59 per person, and that includes all four studios: Vintage Press Studio, Cutesy DIY Bar, K-Photo Lab and Self Portrait Atelier. There is one ticket, The Chalkak Pass, and groups pay less each: 2 people S$110, 3 people S$159 and 4 people S$199.
A: Yes, and it is free. Sign up with your email before you book. Your Chalkak passport and member ID are issued with your first booking: show the ID at the counter and every photo from your visit lands in your passport, ready to view and download whenever you sign in.
A: One hour, for all four studios: Vintage Press Studio, Cutesy DIY Bar, K-Photo Lab and Self Portrait Atelier. That covers shooting and choosing your prints. We recommend arriving 5 minutes early.
A: Visits start on the hour from 10:00 to 22:00 Singapore time, and can be booked and paid for online at chalkak-collective.com/book, up to the day before your visit.
A: Yes, walk-ins are welcome but reservations are recommended, especially on weekends and evenings. Booking guarantees your preferred time slot.
A: Up to 4 people per booking, the most our smallest studio seats. Bigger groups can book back-to-back slots. Under-5s join free with a paying guest and do not count towards the group size.
A: Every studio prints something different. Vintage Press Studio: Vintage frame x9, Photocard x1, Editorial print x1. Cutesy DIY Bar: Cute frame x9, Photocard x1, Event frame x1, DIY decoration materials. K-Photo Lab: Group frame x6, Wide print x2. Self Portrait Atelier: Pro portrait x6, Art print x1, Style lab renders x3. Digital copies: Every session includes the full set, kept in your passport and available to download whenever you sign in.
A: At the K-Photo Lab, yes. After the shoot you pick a filter on the booth’s screen, from soft K-idol tones to Japanese ID and black and white, and adjust the brightness before your strip prints.

A: Bookings are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled for credit. You can change the date with at least 24 hours notice, subject to availability. If we cannot honour the time you booked, we offer an alternative or a full refund.
